This tour checked all the boxes for our group. We came hoping to learn about 1) the general history of Venice, 2) the history of the Ghetto, and 3) impacts of floods and climate change on the city. It also takes place in a wonderful less busy Venetian neighborhood. Laura covered all 3 and MORE! She really brought the stories and gems to life, and helped bring context to this magical city. So grateful for her depth of knowledge and her time with us! Plus her recommendations for Tiramisu were 👌🏼🥰

A very interesting tour of the Cannaregio district,a quieter area away from the tourist drag. Laura tells you about both its past development and problems faced by residents then and what it is like for residents now.

We had an absolutely amazing tour of the hidden secrets of Venice with Laura! She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city and its history. Laura took us beyond the typical tourist spots and showed us fascinating hidden corners of Venice that we would never have discovered on our own. Great guide would highly recommend. Just a shame the talk about .only at the beginning of the tourand comparison to paid tours. I have been on many Guru Walks in various countries, the Venice tours have been marred for me by the focus on money.

Laura was an excellent guide. Her background and knowledge of Venice and its history were 1st rate. Really enjoyed the history of the ghetto area and how Venice was built using wood peers and the clay of the sea bottom. On a hot day she made sure we had lots of shade on the stops we made.

Amazing tour with Laura, thank you so much!! We learned tonnes of facts about the city's history, construction, and current issues (such as flooding) which was super interesting. I loved Laura's enthusiasm about Venice as well - the tour was for sure the highlight of my trip!
