It was an amazing experience knowing and walking through the Jewish ‘little known’ part of the city. It was like watching a movie. She knows many details. Despite the rain, we had good time.

Laura gave a great tour. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving lots of little facts about the areas and Venice itself. Laura was able to answer lots of questions asked by the group and showed us some of the quieter areas of Venice.

Laura was a fantastic guide. She was warm, friendly and articulate. She knows the history and was able to bring it to life and contextualize it at each point we stopped at. We learned a tremendous amount of history, most of it lesser known and it was definitely a whole new side of Venice and its history. Even if you’ve done other more mainstream tours in Venice, you will learn about a side of Venice that is critical to its history, but rarely gets the focus, which is the unique and immense historical contributions of its Jewish community, and how it helped the city thrive.

As a thoughtful finale, she recommended a nearby restaurant—and clearly called ahead, because the owner showed up just for us and ensured we had an amazing meal.
